Fine lines and wrinkles can be smoothen down by removing the surface layers of skin and allowing the treated areas to resurface with new skin cells. Resurfacing can be done by chemical peeling, dermabrasion, laser and coblation. The healing time can take 2 weeks and the new skin can be pink for several months.
